Privacy

Short version: no analytics, no tracking, no cookies. I only get your data when you send me a message.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address and message. I use them only to reply to you. The message is delivered to my inbox by email through Resend, and I keep it only as long as I need it to handle your question or any work that follows from it.

Spam protection

To stop spam, the form counts how many messages come from your IP address. That count is stored with Upstash for at most one hour and then deleted automatically.

Hosting

The site runs on Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel briefly processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

Language and theme

The site picks Dutch or English from your browser's language, or otherwise from the country you're browsing from. That country is only used to choose the language and is not stored. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device.

Services outside the EU

Vercel, Resend and Upstash may process data outside the European Union. They do so under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can ask me to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how I use it. Email hello@sennedev.be. You can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
